My
Story

I was born and raised in the suburbs of Richmond, VA. When I was 12 years old I discovered my love of all things fashion - as a form of self-expression and as an art. As a teenager, I channeled my creative energy through writing, art, and theatre classes. Often I found myself exploring the historic neighborhoods on downtown Richmond for inspiration. I spent my summers boating on Smith Mountain Lake, which where I spend most of my Summer Fridays nowadays with my parents and two younger sisters.

After graduating from Virginia Tech in 2017, I made the big move to New York City. I spent 3 years working in apparel production & sourcing and made the leap to the marketing side of the business in 2020.

In my free time, you'll find me exploring Prospect Park with my husband and our dog Banks or comparing NYC's craft beer selection to Virginia's (spoiler alert - Virginia wins almost every time).

I find inspiration in the places I go and in the people I meet. I believe that the keys to success are hard work, creativity, and a good sense of humor.

In 2017, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Fashion Merchandising & Design and a minor in Communications. During my four college years in the the small town of Blacksburg, VA , I fell in love with the rolling mountains and the southern sense of community.

I found my niche on campus within my small major and through the Fashion Merchandising and Design Society organization. FMDS gave me the opportunity to bring the excitement of the fashion industry to a rural engineering school and serve the community of Southwestern VA. Over the course of my four years, I served as Treasurer, Fashion Show Coordinator, and President of the organization. I briefly wrote their fashion blog, VTVogue, and designed looks for the annual fashion show as well.

All of these experiences taught me how to balance a diverse workload and wear many hats, while igniting my love for bringing creative ideas and projects to life.
